QUALITY ASSURANCE
Our client is an outsourcing software development company, with an aggressive expansion on the Romanian market.
Job description
As a Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for contributing to software specifications, designing test plans, and assuring that the project modules meet the required quality standards
- Work closely with development team to meet product requirements and release dates
- Write, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to evaluate newly implemented features and products
- Develop and maintain a suite of smoke, functional, and regression tests
- Report bugs and verify fixes
- Conduct performance testing
- Review product requirements and technical specifications for product design
- Perform quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements
- Develop new approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance activities
- Communicate significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and provide recommended process improvements to management
- Prepare reports to communicate involvement and results of quality assurance activities
- Prepare and present technical and program information to team members and management
Job requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Knowledge of test procedures, strategies and techniques is a must. Any previous experience with software QA testing is a big plus.
- Able to quickly identify, isolate, replicate, report and track/verify software bugs.
- Able to switch very easily between online and offline projects.
- Able to work with various development teams concurrently in a best-effort, friendly manner
- Excellent problem solving and diagnostic skills
- Fair spoken and written English skills
- Sharp, proactive, well organized, sociable, analytical
- Excellent interpersonal skills required
