We are searching for a colleague for the following position:
QA Engineer
in our Bucharest team.
What will you do?
You will
plan, design, develop and execute different types of tests for our web-based products;
design regression, functional and non-functional (performance, security, usability) tests for new system releases and automate them as much as possible;
conduct black-box testing;
work closely with the development team to investigate and solve major software incidents;
review the technical documentation for accuracy.
And, most of all, you will be a part of our young and dynamic team.
If you have:
at least 1 year QA experience
the ability to read a system specification to understand the purpose and structure of the system;
to look at a system and its specification and from these understand the areas to be tested;
to assess the quality of software by measuring the relevant factors: testability, correctness, reliability, usability, maintainability, reusability, speed, scalability, stability;
BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent;
basic networking knowledge (able to handle basic administration of webservers and related tasks);
good development skills in JavaScript, PHP, Java.
good knowledge of HTML, XML, MySQL and MS SQL;
highly motivated, self-driven and interested in Quality Assurance;
very good communication skills and a great team player;
fluency in English (both written and spoken).
Would be a plus:
experience with an automated testing tool (e.g. TestComplete, SeleniumIDE, JMeter, etc.);
basic usage of version control systems (Subversion);
ISTQB certification.
