We are looking for a candidate that is passionate about quality, telecom technology and user experience with strong willingness to learn new things.
- Analyze software requirements, obtain clarifications where needed, acquire a complete and detailed understanding of the business logic
- Understands the testing approach, methodology, types of testing ( including functional, regression, automation and system testing) and applies them to ensure above objectives.
- Create Test Specifications for all types of agreed testing (functional, smoke regression, load, stability, etc.) with support from senior SeniorQAEngineers or developers.
- Participates in test automation
- Configure the test environment, install the product, create test data, if needed with support from development.
- Execute test cases, identify non conformities, document them according to agreed processes in issue tracking systems, check fixes when available.
- Deliver effective test reports that summarize testing activity (coverage, test results, etc.)
Skills:
- Clear and concise written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects, independently or as part of a team, managing concurrent tasks under time constraints
- Knowledge of testing methodologies, tools and procedures
- Knowledge of relational DBs
- Fair Linux, Windows OS knowledge
- Scripting knowledge
- Very good English communication skills, both oral and written
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- General knowledge of telecom fundamentals (devices, services & products, network protocols) will be appreciated.
Required experience and certifications:
- BSc diploma in Computer studies or ongoing studies
- Previous experience in software products testing or related will be considered a great advantage.
