- Get involved in the creation of web development tools, rich user interfaces and web 2.0 applications
- Write and maintain test plans
- Hand-test applications thoroughly and over a wide range of conditions
- Review and reproduce bugs and other software issues

- work experience as Software Tester or QA Specialist
- use of QA methodologies and practices
- know web design/development software (Flash, Dreamweaver)
- are really detail-oriented and self-motivated
- able to clearly communicate and document software bugs so that they are easily reproducible by the development team

- cannot be convinced by the developers that a bug is not a bug, but an unexpected feature
