Adecco, the worldwide leader in HR solutions is recruiting for one of its clients, a multinational oil & gas company, a highly professional Purchasing Specialist
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
- Coordinating the procurement activity, methodologically and conceptually and its sub-processes (tendering, contracting, supplier evaluation and claim procedures in order to achieve the best commercial and technical conditions for delivered equipment, materials or services).
- Being responsible for: consultancy services, lubricants, wholesale, logistics, communication and marketing services for the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Methodological and conceptual co-ordination in area of procurement and its sub-processes (tendering, contracting, supplier evaluation and claim procedure) in order to achieve the best commercial and technical conditions for delivered material or service;
2) Preparation of short and long term strategy based on analysis of procurement process;
3) Leading and co-ordinating the tendering procedure as a head of evaluation committee; create inquires, commercial & complex evaluations, orders and all related documentation for tendering process for the purchase of materials and services; prepare all the documentation and run tenders;
4) Leading negotiations of commercial conditions and to participate at technical negotiations;
5) Preparing the contract drafts, in particular commercial conditions collecting and considering the comments from other related units, check the fulfilment of contractual conditions in contract and to lead and co-ordinate claim procedure if needed.
6) Periodical evaluation the suppliers; follow up the supplier prequalification results;
7) Monitoring the market trend and preparing analyses from the commercial and technical point of view;
8) Working out the risk and market analysis in order to reduce a probability of risk event and to increase the efficiency of procurement sub-processes;
9) Maintaining and developing the supplier’s database: perform SAP tasks related to procurement: purchase orders, contracts registration, etc. Prepare relevant report and keep records about the tenders, exceptions and contracts
• 3-5 years experience in materials/services procurement or procurement in general within a complex procurement environment, with strong background in service delivery and service management.
• Communication skills, ability to develop credibility with staff and suppliers business knowledge

• English fluent with commercial and technical terminology
