• Develops and maintains good working relations with mass-media, public authorities, partners, IT associations, etc.
• Initiates and plans PR campaigns: defining goals; analysing problems and opportunities; liaising with management and clients (internal and external);
• Writes and edits press releases, in-house newsletters, speeches, articles and annual reports;
• Maintains and updates information on the company website;
• Uses corporate advertising to maintain an organisation's identity, name and reputation;
• Prepares and supervises the production of publicity brochures, handouts, direct mail leaflets;
• Answers enquiries from individuals, journalists and other organisations;
• Speaks in public at presentations, press conferences, radio and TV interviews, and meetings;
• Organizes special events, such as press conferences, exhibitions, open days, tours, symposiums;
• Permanently relates to the other company departments in order to ensure a coherent and efficient communication process.
• University degree (in Journalism, Marketing, Media Relations);
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position;
• Good communication, interpersonal and business writing skills;
• Drive, competence and a willingness to learn;
• Project management, time management and the ability to multi-task effectively;
• Ability to cope with pressure;
• Creativity, initiative, an enquiring and analytical mind, and an ongoing interest in current affairs, news and all forms of the media;
• Persuasiveness, resilience and confidence;
• Technical knowledge and experience in the IT field would be a plus;
• Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Corel Draw, Adobe Reader, internet);
• Advanced knowledge of English.
