This role has been created in Genpact in order to ensure the smooth transition of an outsourced service from the customer site to Genpact site in Romania.
Our basic business model of technology services and business process outsourcing involves transitioning (in other words movement) of business process in different areas from the customer site to the Genpact site. Functional knowledge is essential according to the assigned role/ process. The role incumbent will hence be required to travel to the customer site and asses the AS IS process there (sometimes for extended periods of time) in order to move the process to Genpact site.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the adherence to the Transition Tookit in every migration project;
- Responsible for the overall project management of the Migration Process including:
- Relationship management with the customer - at a process level;
- Coordination with internal support functions (Technology/Telecom/HR/ Quality/Facilities etc..) – for inputs and support as required for the Project;
- Estimating the project requirements (including scope) and scheduling the activities/resources appropriately;
- Ensuring that the project deliverables are met within the Cost and Timeline estimates that were communicated to the customer during the Project Planning phase;
- Monitor the Project and take appropriate corrective actions as necessary;
- Managing the OJT team in absence of Operations Manager if required;
- Managing all project related reporting, updating project trackers (e.g. billing, utilisation etc.), presentations, and representation of Genpact to customers;
- Enhancing transition related knowledge base of the company by best practice sharing, and process/business knowledge sharing within the company and with customers;
- 7+ years of experience in a relevant field and relevant companies (preferably BPO/SSC environment);
- Relevant project management experience;
- Project Management skills (including knowledge of tools like MS Projects);
- Understanding and application of Transition tools & solutions (represents a plus);
- Working knowledge of IT/Telecom to facilitate outsourcing solutions;
- University graduate (relevant studies);
- Availability to travel extensively outside the country;
- Organized personality with attention to details, able to work simultaneously on different projects;
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills;
- Strong oral and written communication skills – ability to interact at all organizational levels;
- Ability to work and act independently;
- Fluency in English;
