Project Manager/ Main Planner

RESPONSABILITATI

Adecco Permanent Placement is recruiting a Project Manager/ Main Planner for its Client, a prestigious engineering company


The role of the PM/ Main Planner is to be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.
It takes full project control with handover from the sales department & sister companies until delivery, commissioning and handover to the internal and external customers.

Responsibility
• Project Management of semi- and fully customized systems
• Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables towards the customers
• Quality assurance within his responsibilities together with input from the QA-management team
• Prioritize construction & production scheduling and coordinate changes with customers
• Main contact towards the customer
• Control project costs
• Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders

Main Tasks
• Manage projects in accordance with the project management milestones & processes of the company’s quality system
• Follow-up and control of the various project stages including material flow
• Maintain detailed project cost reporting, including creation and control of budget, commitments, change management, value of work done, accruals and forecasting.
Cost reporting includes regular (monthly) reviews, post calculation within one month after delivery and final post calculation within one month after final commissioning
• Report status regularly to Company’s management and customers on project progress
• Verify and evaluate risk of solutions
• Manage project risks if required
• Manage order changes towards the customer
• Complete customer documentation
• Prepare and participate in Company’s internal planning and finance meetings
• Participate in customer meetings and negotiations to finalize specifications.
• Define delivery times, also during quotation phase based on capacity, parts availability and other influencing factors
• Coordinate and maintain usage of project management tools (i.e. ERP, OpenPlan, etc.).
