-Management of automation projects.
-Preparation on a monthly basis of the local budget part (spent/remaining). Respect of the local budget part.
-Management of subcontractors : contractual aspect, progress meeting with subcontractor follow up and updating of cubicle manufacturing, management of contractual and strategic issues with subcontractors as well as main technical issues,
-Management of sent/received correspondence file
-Variation Order management
-Participation to site meetings especially in case of contractual issues (supplementary works, schedule).
-Management of invoicing: preparation of invoices (figures, work and procurement item description), participation to the element transfer meeting with customers, validation of invoices before sending, follow up and updating of the invoicing schedule, follow up of cash flow.
-Invoicing from subcontractor : acceptation (or rejection) of the invoices issued by the subcontractors
-Management of variation orders requested by the subcontractors
-Modifications : Identification of impacts in terms of schedule and costs of modification requests (from modification sheet reports).
-Administrative : leave planning management of local team, review of expense account spent by commissioning engineers.
-To prepare site quality and safety plan
-Risk analysis : to identify and provide element of risks (costs, schedule, technical).
For our client , one of the biggest companies with Portuguese capital that is activating in electromechanical field with a strong influence on the international market, we are recruiting a PROJECT MANAGER.
Education / Experience:
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation and Computer Science or equivalent
The senior projects manager will work with team members and management within the plan and drive the implementation of key departmental projects in a number of areas.
Strong change leadership and communication skills to complement the programme leads leadership skills
A higher degree in Quality Management, Project Management or related field would be advantageous.
Knowledge or experience in management methodologies is desirable but not essential
Proven track record of delivering measurable and sustainable benefits
A good coach and ability to transfer change management knowledge and skills effectively
Attention to detail and good documentation skills
Ability to deal with conflict positively
Track record of building positive working relationships with people who work in a challenging and at times stressful work environment.
Fluent in English
