RESPONSABILITATI

POSITION: PROJECT MANAGER
General Investment, a subsidiary of the parent company AVRIG35 has an opportunity for a Project Manager role in its Technical Department. This position will report to the Technical Director/Retail Division and will also work closely with the General Manager of General Investment Co. In this role the Project Manger will take full responsability of all current and new investment projects located in about 17 regions out side Bucharest (refurbishment, building new projects, etc). The position is headquartered in Bucharest and has approximatley 25% travel time to the site locations through out the country.

Responsibilites:

Develops, in a short period of time a good knowledge of all investment projects and plays an active role in the finalization of these projects.
Prepares and makes recommendations regarding all budgets and gets Sr. Managemts¿s approval.
With assitance from the Purchasing Engineer, conducts and organizes auction to identify and make recommendations to hire potential colaborators/clients/projecs.
Offers technical support to finalize contracts, seeks assitance from the other depatments (legal, accounting/finance) to ensure risks, efficient costs; prepares offers and follows-up on their complition.
Works with the Planning Engineer to prepare the planing of the projects (resources, activities, stages of the projects, time frame, costs) and is responsible for monitoring all activites related to the good complition of the project, cost of the projects and time table.
Coordinates and follows-up project execution through regular ¿on site¿ visits; implements appropriate measure as dictated by management of the company to ensure successful finalization of all projects.
Executes receptions for finalized projects/tenants, follows-up payments to clients.
Coordinates all technical activities performed by the Administrators & Technical Support of buildings.


CERINTE

Requirements:

Graduated from one of the Construction Engineering Universities or other equivalent education field.
Relevant work experince on construction sites of minumum 5 years.
Very good planning/organization skills as well as communication skills.
Strong management skills in managing a project.
Operational knowledge in MS Office and AutoCad;
Availability for short business trips across the country;
Good knowledge of English and French.
