Job Description:
The Program Manager will be responsible for driving on-time delivery of specific programs and projects through facilitating collaboration between cross-functional teams. This will include working with global teams in the planning and development of solutions and program schedules, critical milestones, processes, and program reviews. The ideal candidate should also be able to proactively identify potential risks and dependencies, and work with stakeholders to arrive at a resolution.
Responsibilities:
• Own project coordination and facilitation of complex projects.
• Manage project schedules, including the identification of dependencies and critical paths
• Communicate project status and key milestones
• Maintain a continuous and transparent communication flow between stakeholders and teams with functional dependencies
• Identify and track issues and risks, and develop appropriate mitigation strategies
• Coordinate alignment between cross-functional teams
• Ensure adherence to defined processes as well as drive improvements to established processes to increase further efficiencies and collaboration while routinely measuring performance and progress
• Provide regular reports along with key metrics to executive management
This position reports to the Global Director of Product Delivery.
Requirements:
• Bachelors degree in a technical-related discipline, or equivalent
• 6+ years of experience in the software or technology-centric industry
• PMP certification or equivalent, preferred
• Intimate knowledge of software development life cycles and models
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong presentation skills
• Demonstrated creative problem-solving, conflict management, and negotiation skills
• Must possess strong leadership qualities, and preferably has demonstrated experience in successfully managing and delivering complex, cross-functional projects
• Ability to work in a global virtual environment, managing remote teams
• Excellent work ethics and attitude
• Computer security experience along with a firm grasp of the threat landscape highly desired
