Mission:
Lead Turbocharger sub-component APQP activities for new Program Launches from supplier selection until serial Production.
Coordinate Supply Base related Quality activities for the full BOM of a new Turbocharger launch.
Specific duties:
Support sourcing selection by providing factual supplier performance data enabling to build the Bidding List,
Coordinate with Engineering and Launch Sourcing teams to engage supplier in the early development phases of a new product application,
Communicate to selected suppliers all program related quality expectations including:
APQP Initial Timing Plan, Quality Targets (PPM, ...), PPAP Level requirement,
Communicate to supplier and track completion of Customer specific requirements (Ford Supplement K, CQ9 Audit,...),
Organize and lead APQP Program Review according to Honeywell TS SBIP procedure
Monitor Prototype and Pre-production batch quality and ensure data are utilized for pro-active design/process problem resolutions,
Maintain Program related Quality documentation (TFC, APQP Timing & Open Issue list, PPAP, ...)
Coordinate SQE On-site supplier activities related to the new Program (PPAP Level 5, Run@Rate,...)
Track Supplier PPAP approval, under responsibility of SQ&D engineers.
Define the Early Production Containment Plan at supplier as well as HTT Incoming Receiving Inspection strategy during Program Ramp-up,
Represent the Supplier Quality function in front of the Customer
Attributes/Skills Required
- Fluent spoken and written English.
Problem solving analysis skills with a logical and methodical approach (8D, 5Why, Cause/Effect Diagram, Root Cause)
- Personal flexibility to travel
- Teaming with other business functions to ensure that assigned suppliers are capable of new product launches
- Excellent communication & organizational skills

Experience/Education Required:
- Graduate Engineer (Mechanical/ Production)
- Previous working experience of 5 to 7 years in automotive industry in the fields of APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC
- Experience with Project Management
