Manages and mainatain equipment and applications for network management and other equipment and applications used in Operation and Maintenance Division;
Monitors and secures the access to the equipments and applications administered for granting their proper functioning and the access control in the telecommunication networks;
Performs backups for preserving the security of data and configurations;
Executes periodic maintenance according to vendor’s specifications in order to grant their proper functioning;
Maintains the contact with equipment and applications suppliers for reporting and solving the problems occurred at equipment and applications administered, according to support procedures agreed with suppliers and provides technical and logistical support during the interventions made by them;
Monitors and solves alarms and technical issues appeared in the administered systems and applications for granting their optimal functioning;
Monitors administered systems and applications’ performance and acts proactively to ensure their proper functionality;
Installs new applications and corrections to the existing ones, or gives technical support when these activities are performed by others;
Executes work orders and follows up and reports their effects and results;
Analyses and solves clients or other departments and offices complaints related to the administered systems and applications;
Solves emergency situations by interventions including during night or week-end.
University degree in electronics and telecommunication, automation and computing or related fields;
Experience in Linux/Unix system administration – minimum 1 year;
Experience in databases (Oracle, MySQL, Sybase, Microsoft SQL) administering – minimum 1 year;
Knowledges related to computers, operating systems and applications: SUN Solaris, Unix, Linux, Windows - advanced;
Knowledges regarding the management of the databases: Sybase, Oracle MySQL, Microsoft SQL - medium;
Mobile telephony knowledges – basic;
Data networks knowledges – basic;
English - medium level;
Enthusiasm, positive attitude, integrity, analytical thinking, ability to collect synthetize and present informations and to prepare materials, ability to respect the dead-lines, ability to work under stress.
