• Develops and manages materials planning for goods and materials demanded by Company's vessels.
• Creates item specific forecasts over a rolling time horizon to be used for ordering and inventory management purposes.
• Creates integrated processes among Operations, Purchasing, Logistics, and outside suppliers to execute the planning/replenishment process.
• Identifies systems tools needed to implement planning/forecasting systems.
• Leads reengineering efforts as it relates to supply chain planning and execution systems.
• Professional Know-How: university or technical university (master‘s) degree;
• 2 years as a Planner or related position.
• Relevant work experience in forecasting and planning with understanding of all phases of product development planning and production as well as effects on supply chain.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents and make sound decisions and recommendations.
• Ability to understand and apply advanced mathematical concepts in an operational environment.
