- To install, administer and maintain the Oracle and SQL databases (IT dbases);
- Responsible for defining, implementing and updating the backup policy for the IT databases;
- To assure maximum availability and functionality of the allocated systems;
- Responsible for daily monitoring of all IT dbases of all environments for performance, security alerts and capacity planning.
- University degree in Computer science and/or Informatics
- At least 2 years experience in similar position (Database Administrator)
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle 8.1, 9.2, 10g administration;
- Advanced knowledge of SQL 2000/2005 administration;
- Good knowledge of database monitoring tools products (e.g. Quest products suite);
- Good knowledge of backup technologies;
- Very good command of English.
