Avira is looking for a candidate who is fluent in German and English and has strong Marketing and relationship skills. The ideal candidate would have experience of running online affiliate campaigns together with knowledge of CPA, PPC, CPM and Revenue share payment models.
The Affiliate Manager will:
- Develop an affiliate program that Avira can deploy and adapt on a global basis.
- Create a targeted, tiered list of prospective affiliates to work with and put together a sales and marketing plan on how to attract and retain them.
- Consult and manage existing affiliates to identify their individual needs and in helping them draw traffic to their site.
- Identify "lapsed" affiliates and take the appropriate measures of reviving / bolstering account flow.
- Inform (phone, email, website) affiliates of ongoing and promotions and on occasion develop customized incentives to motivate affiliates to participate.
- Liaise with internal and external graphics design and web teams to develop content for the affiliates.
- Analysis of metrics to report on program performance.
- At least 2 years experience managing affiliate programmers, either directly for a merchant, at an affiliate network or within an agency environment.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Account Management.
- Experience analyzing metrics to develop new opportunities in the business.
- Exposure to target driven environments.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good communication and language skills – Fluent in both German and English with other languages being an advantage
- Creative problem solver and team player.
- Strong self motivator and able to think outside the box.
