Summary

You will be managing the day-to-day operations of all conversion optimization efforts for our Consumer Products division. You will work close with the Business Development Manager and Product Development team to craft a sustainable strategy and course of action.

You will coordinate the activity and staff in the online marketing team (PPC, SEO, social media, affiliate, email marketing) and will also have access to an analytics expert.

Conversion optimization is all about driving results that are immediately apparent and impactful. So your main focus is customer and user acquisition, activation, retention, upsell and cross sell. This is not a static practice so we’ll need to identify how we can improve the results of our products, and count on you to lead this initiative as well as to ideate on how the broader cross-departmental team can constantly improve the product offering.

We have a focus on measuring the impact of everything we do, and will rely on you to identify what should be measured, how it should be measured, and the goals that we’re shooting for. The feedback loop is an essential part of how we identify areas for improvement, so you will also support user testing campaigns and the requisite tools for us to collect this data.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Optimize site/page performance to increase clicks, conversion and engagement rates
• Craft and test campaign marketing messages, call to actions, banners, page layouts/design and AD performance together with your team and UX peers
• Develop hypotheses, testing road-maps and reports for A/B and multivariate tests together with the product team
• Design, develop and launch testing, targeting and optimization activities across all our business units
• Analysis of user behavior, scientific experimentation, and targeted promotions
• Report on the progress of conversion optimization on a weekly, monthly & quarterly basis
• Help the company to quantify and understand progress against goals: select key performance indicators and develop reports on these metrics for consumption across the organization
• Support the product team in translating qualitative and quantitative test results into actionable business and marketing insight
• Copy-writing: be able to write content and materials necessary for the marketing strategy
• Create content for new web pages and populates them, while maintaining visual and editorial consistency throughout the sites
• Keep watch on industry benchmarks and monitors the competition
• Consult on promotions capabilities with business users, such as Business Analytics, Customer Support, Outbound, product managers etc., and coordinates execution of promotions directly and indirectly
• Ensure all content is on brand
• Input into developing the overall digital content and social media strategy
• Be an active member of relevant business specific online communities

• Proficient English skills (both spoken and written English)
• Writing skills and passion for the Internet
• Proven experience in conversion rate optimization
• High level of computer literacy, particularly MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Familiar with SEO, PPC, affiliate and other web marketing tactics
• Basic web design, database, HTML, web programming knowledge
