RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Utilizes object oriented development tools to analyze, model, design, construct and test and implement software systems within the parameters established for a given project;
- Identifies the high-level technical risks and provides input, solutions and recommendations;
- Communicates any requirement changes / deletions /additions to the Technical Project Manager for change management;
- Works closely with other team members to complete assignments and communicate progress and/or difficulties;
- Participates in department-specific and project-wide meetings;
- Reports the status of technical activities to the Technical PM.
- University degree in insurance mathematics, applied mathematics, statistics or in a similar field;
- Fundamentals of OOP programming and ability to assimilate a new proprietary object oriented programming language;
- Ability and readiness to work on a complex product model;
- Communication skills and readiness to work in an international team;
- Ability and willingness to travel if necessary for work or training;
- Fluent in English (oral & written);
- German language is an advantage;
- Specific insurance industry knowledge is a great advantage.
