Reporting to IT Manager successful candidate will be responsible for the network (LAN, WAN, VPN’s) administering and the support for the servers, software standards, process and procedures
More specifically he/she will:
-Provide troubleshooting, technical support and consulting for external and internal users
- Develop, maintain and periodically test the Company backup/restore strategy.
- Implement IT process, policies and procedures
- Ensure infrastructure evolution is aligned with business development strategy
- Interface with DBs Administrator to ensure the application’s requirements can be accomplished, maintaining a good network performance.
- Install, Maintain and troubleshoot Windows/Linux Servers.
- University degree preferably informatics or polytechnic
- Minimum 3 years experience in Networking and Computer Security on a multi-vendor network environment (Linux, Windows)
- Experience with TCP/IP networking protocols, routing, firewall and VPN administration
- Experience in capacity planning and network design
- Network administration expertise on Microsoft Windows 2003 Enterprise Server, Windows 2000 Server Windows 98, Windows XP, Microsoft Exchange
- Veritas knowledge would be an advantage
- Strong troubleshooting and fault isolation skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic and demanding environment
- Self management - ability to organize and prioritize tasks
- Microsoft certifications would be an advantage
- Advanced English
