The .NET Technical Leader will be responsible for leading software development teams in the building of applications and systems using mainly Microsoft tools and technology.
• Participates in the analysis, design, development, testing and deployment phases of development projects
• Develops complex software products (web sites, client applications, middle-tier components, etc.) to meet customer requirements
• Participates in the modeling of database schemas and writes SQL including stored procedures and triggers
• Organizes and conducts project design sessions and designs flexible solutions to meet project requirements
• Performs reviews and integration testing to assure quality of project development efforts
• Ensures project tasks are assigned and completed in a timely manner and project milestone dates are met
• Ensures projects use established organizational development standards and methodologies in all phases of the project
• Ensures all project documentation is created, archived, and updated, including design, development and deployment documentation
• Solicits information and gathers feedback from customer representatives to understand project requirements.
• Helps control project scope
• Coordinates activities of development team
• Ensures all team members are informed of project activities
• Produces and updates project schedule documentation
• Provides project status reports to key stakeholders
• Interfaces and collaborates with other business units on specifics of projects, new technologies and deadlines
• Ensures project artifacts are placed under version control and labels each product release
• Actively identifies and responds to project risks
• Supervises, mentors and provides performance feedback for project team members
• Formally evaluates team member performance after project completion
• Deploys and monitors project releases
• Supports production systems on request
• Provides problem solving support
• Attends and leads project team meetings and departmental meetings
• Keeps fully abreast of IT trends and changing technologies
-• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school with a major in Computer Science or other relevant information/computer technology field
• Three (3) to five (5) years prior directly related experience in a Software Development role (supervisory or technical leadership experience)
• Experience in ASP .Net, Windows Forms/WPF and SQL 2005-2008
