The National Officer will be responsible for mobilizing financial resources for the implementation of new projects; managing the current project portfolio and develop new projects and programmes in partnership with the Romanian Government, local authorities, NGOs and other stakeholders.
Experience and qualifications: Candidates will have minimum a university degree in environmental sciences, energy engineering or related disciplines (an advanced degree would be an advantage); minimum 5 years of work experience in relevant fields (experience with international organizations and assistance programmes would be a plus).
Key competencies and skills: knowledgeable of environmental issues in Romania; good project management skills; capability to design and develop new initiatives; professionalism and maturity; well organized and having good analytical skills; good team builder; advanced computer skills; fluent in English, with excellent writing and communication skills.
