Position Summary:
This position will support our team with the creation of motion media, video, graphics, training and website related materials. In a corporate production environment, works as a key member of a team to create high-quality videos and effective motion graphics.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interpret project requirements and specifications to create animated instructional videos;
• Motion media full lifecycle design, from brain storming and story board development to a finished product ready for global audience consumption;
• Digital branding and design – experience with brand updates and/or from scratch brand creation;
• Work closely with team, subject matters and vendors to complete original video & digital media projects; communicate with product team members to understand and interpret project requirements;
• Graphics and media design;
• Design and create engaging motion graphics for video deliverables;
• Add effects/elements/motion graphics to existing video content;
• Create video composites;
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trends and techniques in graphic/motion design;
• Demonstrate understanding of learning strategies and implementation;
• Work in the most proactive, creative and professional manner to provide the highest level of service to our clients;
Key Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Design, Art, Electronic Media, Communications or related field;
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in motion graphics or related field;
• Broadcast or e-learning design experience helpful;
• Experience working with outside partners and content vendors;
• Experience in the development of content via different media (strongly preferred);
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and communicate progress on projects;
• Candidates should have reel/samples available online/electronically for review.
Experience & Key Skills:
• Experience in graphic design, illustration, animation and video/audio editing;
• In-depth knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3;
• Experience with Cinema 4D/Maya, Adobe’s After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator is required. Experience with Mocha, Toon Boom and a comprehensive understanding of video codecs a plus;
• Solid foundational art skills, including motion, color, line, form and composition;
• Knowledge of classic animation principles and fundamentals;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Ability to communicate both visually and verbally;
• Proven ability to organize your tasks, work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willing to work in a high performance unit (clear targets, regular feedback on how tracking according to targets);
• Strong organizational and problem solving skills including ability to troubleshoot;
• Fluent spoken/written English;
• German would be an advantage.
