You will develop complex applications (mobile antivirus, security, backup/synchronizing apps), available on a wide range of Android devices (Phones and Tablets).
What you will do:
Participate in the analysis and design of mobile applications using Android SDK
Contribute to the development effort during the full life cycle of the software product
Handle multiple tasks, meet established deadlines
Assure quality for your deliverables
Fix and maintain proprietary systems or in house developed software
Architect Android apps and explain with arguments the chosen architecture to your peers
Implement new features as they are requested and specified
Fix bugs identified and reported
Job requirements:
2+ years experience on Android
Extended knowledge of JAVA programming and Android SDK, Eclipse
Experience working with bug management and source control systems
Experience in developing for multiple screens and android versions
Experience integrating web services and Push Notifications
Experience applying development best practices (documentation, code reviews, coding standards, design patterns).
Be up-to-date with Android UI design fundamentals
Be familiar with Android specific technologies and NDK.
Release applications to Google Play and manage updates publication, as needed
Demonstrable experience in developing complex Android applications and involvement in
The whole development process, from architecture to deployment (at least 1 application publicly available for testing)
At least high school graduate (faculty graduation is a plus)
Proficient in spoken and written English
