Ruukki produce si vinde componente, produse, si sisteme metalice complete si ofera solutii "la cheie" pentru industria constructiilor civile si industriale si a constructiilor de masini. Compania opereaza in 23 de tari si are peste 13.000 de angajati.
In 2007 Ruukki va construi prima fabrica de componente metalice dedicata segmentului constructiilor civile si industriale din Romania. Unitatea de productie, se va intinde pe o suprafata de 27 000 m2 si va fi construita in judetul Giurgiu, langa comuna Bolintin Deal, la aproximativ 20 km distanta de Bucuresti.
Productia va cuprinde: linii de productie pentru profile si structuri de otel, panouri sandwich, profile pentru acoperisuri si pereti si casete structurale. In noua fabrica, vor fi angajati in total aproximativ 400 salariati de la muncitori calificati pana la personal pentru activitatea de birou.

The plant will be built in municipality of Giurgiu, about 20 km from Bucharest (near Bolintin Deal village) and will cover the metal-based production from profiling and steel frame to sandwich panels, roofing, cladding profiles and liner trays.
