Responsible for providing accurate and timely material pricing information to enable Plexus Corp. to provide industry competitive pricing quotations in support of current customers and new business development opportunities
Assume ownership of ensuring that material costing activity is completed by the established due date.
Read and interpret a variety of drawing formats and other documentation. Complete budgetary estimates when needed in absence of firm supplier quotes
Obtain clear , detailed understanding of proposal strategy and communicate with the materials costing team.
Manage quotation requests with appropriate suppliers to ensure Plexus Corp. obtains industry competitive component pricing within the requested time frame . Review competitiveness of quotation with reference to historical and standard pricing .
A Bachelor' s Degree in Business or Engineering is highly desirable
Experience in Materials in a similar role
Good in Data Processing and analysis
Strong knowledge in Excel
