KPMG Romania is presently seeking to significantly grow its Forensic Services division in order to deal with the current demands of its clients for forensic services in Romania.
KPMG is seeking to hire a manager-level candidate for its forensic services division. In this respect the candidate should have at least 2 years of prior experience in forensic services or at least 4 years in related services such as Internal Audit, Compliance, other regulatory functions or in the law enforcement arena, specifically commercial crime and the investigation or prosecution thereof.
The nature of the services provided by KPMG include fraud and irregularity investigations, dispute advisory and resolution services, the management of fraud –related risk, anti-money laundering and audit risk analysis.
The successful candidate will report functionally to the Country Head and the Regional Head of Forensic Services.
Significant emphasis will be placed on the career development of the successful candidate, with a view to developing the candidate in KPMG Romania.
The job responsibilities will mainly cover:
- Responsibility for fieldwork management and report writing within the provided services
- Coordinating cooperation with other team specialists in Romania and regionally for e.g. in data mining, corporate intelligence, accounting and with external lawyers
- Responsibility for the project management, delivery and execution of services for specific client engagements
- Responsibility for managing and developing junior staff on projects
- Active participation in opportunities identification, and increased participation in marketing strategy and proposal development
The following qualifications and experience are required:
-University degree in Economics or related field
-At least 4 years of work experience, of which 2 years in forensic or 4 years in related services such as internal or external audit, law enforcement etc
- Driving license
- MS Office skills, general computer literacy
- Fluent in Romanian language (written and spoken)
- Fluent English (written and spoken) would be an added advantage.
