RESPONSABILITATI

The EMEA&I Transportation Manager is the key person responsible to manage freight, packaging and warehouse services in the region, making sure that best practices and robust process are implemented.
The manager will liaise with the manufacturing sites to ensure that key goals are achieved and projects are deployed in time.
From time to time the manager will also be involved in specific projects where there is the need of expertise in transportation and network optimization; physical flows re-engineering and packaging spend reduction.
The Manager will be responsible to manage a budget and to make sure that financial forecast is provided for the main area of activity.


CERINTE

Minimum BS degree and applicable experience in Supply Chain management of at least 3 year.
The candidate must have demonstrated experience in progressively more responsible and challenging roles.
This role requires very well developed communication skills at all levels within and outside of the SC organization.
A deep knowledge of local transportation flows / laws is needed.
The Manager is a team player and capable of guiding teams of people also if not directly reporting to him/her.
Also working knowledge of the systems used such as SAP, TMS is needed.
