SCHENKER is seeking candidates for LOGISTICS MANAGER position, Bucharest office:
- Result responsibility for product field Logistics in Romania with operations on various sites in Romania.
- Business development activities in accordance with Sales Manager and country organization
- Implementation of new logistics projects
- Monitoring and leading of warehouse and contract logistics operations
- Implementation of management tools such as BSC, KPI-system or continuous improvement principals to increase productivity and reduce operating costs
- Ensure a clean, safe and secure work environment
- Monitoring of the implementation of a new WMS
- Observation of the local logistics market
- Participation on logistics events in Romania
- Work out of logistics tender in terms of process design, resource planning and cost calculation
- Set up and negotiating of logistics contacts
- Experience in Leading and Implementation of warehouse logistics projects
- Experience in an international environment is a plus
- Economic education or skills
- Know How in calculation and quotation of warehouse logistics projects
- Specific Know How in process design and material flow planning
- Knowledge in warehouse technique and layout planning
- Industry knowledge in FMCG and/or Automotive
- Proficiency in English(spoken & written) – German is a plus
- Good command of PC applications (Excel, Word)
- Experience in contracting of logistics projects
- Excellent communications and negotiations skills
