We are searching for a colleague for the following position:
Linux C/C++ Developer
in our Bucharest-based Linux Development team.
What would you do?
You will….
…develop and maintain kernel modules in the areas of VFS and block devices
…develop userspace high-payload client-server applications using C/C++
…put to good use your Linux system programming skills involving filesystem I/O, processes/threads, IPC, signals, network programming etc
…research / enhance open-source projects, as needed
And, most of all, you will be a part of our young and dynamic team
If you have:
…practical experience with system programming in C/C++ under Linux;
…advanced knowledge of C++ programming language and STL algorithms and structures;
…knowledge of object oriented practices and design patterns;
…experience with development of distributed systems;
…experience with relational databases (MySQL);
…knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Perl, awk, sed, etc);
…awareness of HTML, HTTP, SSL, XML, Internet Standards and RFCs;
…good ability to speak and understand English.
Would be a plus:
…interest in kernel development;
…experience with Boost libraries;
…knowledge of Java;
…knowledge of German language.
