Your tasks:

On a management level:
Manage a team of numerous programmers:
Manage performance and conduct evaluations
Staff programmers across multiple projects
Identify strength/weaknesses and training needs
Recruit new programmers
Must be knowledgeable about most technical areas of the game and works to distribute tasks to different members of the programming team
Oversee programming department day to day operations
Work with the leadership team to define the technical strategy for upcoming titles
Collaborate with artists and designers to understand their needs and expectations for future development
Identify potential issues with respect to technical designs and come up with solutions as to how to avert them
Monitor efficiency
Communicate with other Ubisoft Studios


CERINTE

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field
5+ years in the game industry
Passion for the entertainment industry and distributed development
At least three shipped title as a programmer, one as lead programmer
Outstanding experience in software architecture and design
Strong knowledge in Java programming, scripting language experience (ActionScript, PHP, Python, etc...), multiple hardware platforms and online experience
Excellent organizational communication and management skills with a strong desire to contribute to a unique creative environment by utilizing world-wide talent
Good oral and written English communication skills
