RESPONSABILITATI

Undertake the delivery of software corrections, development, programming, maintenance and internal technical documentation according to the eServGlobal engineering management requirements, development practices and industry best practices.
• Development and maintenance of specifications and user documentation in accordance with the relevant eServGlobal methodologies.
• Problem analysis, reproducing and resolution.
• Update and development of design documents, in accordance with the relevant eServGlobal methodologies.
• Performance of quality control/Verification and Validation (V&V) activities in accordance with the relevant eServGlobal methodologies.
• Recommendations for continuous improvement to the relevant eServGlobal methodologies.
• Development activities, based on staff rotation plan.


CERINTE

Relevant degree in computer science or related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Technical knowledge:

• A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design
• Programming languages: C/C++
• OOD, OOP – UML
• Comfortable with UNIX/LINUX operating systems, UNIX shell scripting
• Experienced with awk, sed, perl
• Ansi SQL – familiarity with database servers
• Experience with Oracle or Informix database servers
• Knowledge of Solaris internal structures is a plus
• Experience with post-deployment activity (support, maintenance) is a plus
• Familiarity with development of java j2ee applications is a plus – JDBC, JPA, JPQL, EJB 3.0, servlets, web services (XML SOAP, WSDL) - JBoss, Oracle Application Server
• Experience with systematic software development methodologies (according to an internal development life cycle) is a plus

Telecom product knowledge:

Have some exposure to specific commercial applications

Industry knowledge:

Awareness of fixed line and/or mobile telecom knowledge

Project management skills:

Ability to achieve agreed deliverable, monitor and report progress.

Communication skills:

• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• The ability to work and interact effectively in a team environment.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal). These include communicating effectively and professionally with international teams.
