Main task of the job:
To be involved in various Technical related tasks on any offsite or onsite SOFGEN project anywhere in the world.
Job Status in Organisational Structure:
The position of Junior Technical Consultant is below Technical Consultant, Senior Technical Consultant and Project Manager in the Organisational structure. A Junior Technical Consultant needs to be with the company for 3 years to be promoted to Technical Consultant. 5 years or more experience justifies a Senior Technical Consultant position. The Junior Technical Consultant will work alongside other Junior Technical and Business Consultants and will always be supervised by Technical/Business Consultants, Senior Technical/Business Consultants and/or a Project Manager.
Responsibilities
Provide implementation support to projects on generic technical processes, depending on the consultant¿s knowledge
Review clients¿ requirements against GLOBUS / SOFGEN product topologies, architecture and technologies and recommend solutions (customization, additional developments, etc.)
Implement the solution or prepare the design documentations (specifications) to enable implementation of recommended solution
Participate in GLOBUS and SOFGEN product configuration
Participate in User Acceptance Testing and support go live operation.
Conduct informal training and provide guidance in implementing best practices
Participate in post go-live support operation
Job performance
This position is a customer-facing position. Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers is required. Ability to understand customer requirements and SOFGEN products and then combine and translate that information into increased customer success is critical.
This position operates in a team-oriented environment with constant supervision by a senior team member. As a result, the incumbent must participate in building and maintaining strong and effective working relationships with other team members.
Job attributions
The employee must obey and respect instructions given by superiors and must work well in a team to accomplish tasks. The employee must share information and knowledge with the ultimate aim of getting the work done in a professional manner. The employee must not act in such ways that may harm the reputation of SOFGEN, especially in front of clients.
Material labour conditions
The employee will use all SOFGEN materials (which include laptops, manuals, source codes etc) during the course of the employment.
Relations with other employee
The employee shall at all times have a good working relationship with all colleagues (whether they are at the same level or superior in the hierarchical structure). The employee must communicate with the client in the way he/she has been instructed by their superiors on the project.
Working conditions
The normal working hours will be 40 hours per week, however all SOFGEN employees are required to show a considerable amount of flexibility in order to meet customer and company demands.

We are Looking at Technical Consultants working on different technologies like Dotnet,Java,Oracle etc with minimum of 2yrs in the above technologies
Job requirements:
IT related degree, programming skills, English speaking and writing skills, willingness to travel extensively anywhere in the world. The person must be dynamic and flexible, willing to learn and adapt him/herself to different environments and cultures. The person must also be a team player.
