Support Senior Program Manager of the VW Customer Team in leading multi-functional project teams to develop and launch into production new turbocharger applications at HTT's Bucharest plant, to meet customer and business expectations for performance, quality, reliability, cost and time-to-market.
1. Plan projects for new product launches and running changes, according to the Product Excellence Process (PEP) phases 5-8
2. Contribute to the assessment of new product opportunities, consolidating investments (both internal and external), resources of the manufacturing plant, cost and planning data
3. Drive engineering, manufacturing and communication activities through launch, with special focus on critical path tasks.
4. Support the Senior PM in leading the team to identify, understand and mitigate risks to project timing, product cost, quality and reliability
5. Lead weekly reviews of open projects with the Customer Team, and drive actions where required to meet project goals
6. Report the status of projects to the internal organization, escalating issues through Launch Readiness Review
7. Organize cross-functional reviews of product designs and drawings to ensure design for manufacture, quality and reliability
8. Prepare key control documents: Top Consultation, Cost estimate, PAR, Product Launch Authorization
9. Ensure communication with plants and other functions, through presentations of projects at key milestones
10. Co-ordinate the supply-chain from supplier to customer through pre-series, PPAP and start of production
11. Prepare and collect information for the hand-over of new products to plant management and operations functions
12. Participate in the closure of completed programs by providing data on actual performance vs plan, and capturing lessons-learned
13. Maintain key project documents in the project book, in compliance with ISO-TS requirements
14. Ensure confidentiality of commercially sensitive information, and compliance to business procedures
15. Update project progress and action status in e-PEP
Support critical business processes, to achieve customer satisfaction and financial targets
16. Maintain on-going forecast of Capital Expenditure required supporting new product launches and modifications
17. Support Customer Quality Engineer to obtain customer homologation of new component sources and designs
Participate in the PEP expert network, to drive continuous improvement in launch management activity
18. Lead and support specific business-wide projects to improve program management processes and resolve business issues
19. Share experience and best-practice within the program management team
20. Actively promote the use of PEP tools and project management methods throughout the organization

Experience / Education required :
- Degree in engineering, business administration, or equivalent
- Experience in product development (automotive industry preferred)
- Experience in managing complex projects with multiple goals of time, cost and quality
- Knowledge of project management tools and techniques
- Experienced in cultural change
