The Information Technology Department of Ubisoft has opened a 6 months internship position of Junior Database Administrator – to perform database administration functions as assigned and provide high quality technical services to our clients.



You will have the opportunity to extend your Microsoft SQL Server knowledge and develop your analytical abilities, while interacting with an international environment.





Your tasks

Under the responsibility of the Operations Team leader your main missions as a Junior Database Administrator revolve around:

Microsoft SQL Server database administration, daily monitoring, review and perform SQL migration tasks
Documentation: hardware/software configurations, downtime/availability, problem/ resolution, procedures, scripts, resource usage, disaster recovery procedures, etc.


CERINTE

Essential skills:

Last year student or graduate of IT studies;
MS SQL Server 2005/2008 knowledge is required
ORACLE database administration knowledge basic level is an advantage
Very good command of English, French is a plus
Knowledge of systems concepts and technologies



Desirable personal skills:

Strong verbal/written communication
Documentation, organizational, analytical and troubleshooting skills are a must
Customer focused and team player attitude.
Sense of humor and positive approach
