- design and develop services and applications for 1&1 data centers
- create or enhance monitoring systems for networks and servers
- make configuration tools for state-of-the-art network infrastructure
- work in a professional, young and fun environment where quality and team work are best valued
- Java Enterprise experience with common application servers
- very good scripting experience (e.g. Python, Perl, shell, PHP)
- experience with Hibernate and ORM/JPA and web services
- very good OOP, best practices, unit testing, patterns and anti-patterns skills
- experience with Maven, versioning and continuous integration tools
- good ability to speak and understand English
Would be a plus:
- very good knowledge of network protocols, from link to application layer
- experience with systems and various Linux distributions
