Under the management of a Project Manager or a Senior Developer, your tasks will be:
• Write a technical design (how to explain technically the business needs)
• Develop a component or a part of a application (the technical solution)
• Test your own development
• Maintain a component and/or an application (bug tracking, hot fixing, etc.)
• Respect the different deadlines of your tasks
• Help on finding technical solutions
• Apply the best development practices (architecture recommendation, etc.)
• Respect and apply the IT processes (design, development, testing, etc.)
• Give a fare feedback on your tasks to your manager
• University Degree in technical discipline.
• About 2-3 years of experience working on a successful J2EE or JEE applications.
• Familiar with standard design patterns applicable to enterprise software.
• Familiarity with Hibernate, Spring or others main frameworks
• Maven and continuous integration tools
• Versioning tools
• Experience in Linux environment
• Experience of the Tomcat and/or other Application Server
• Experience with My SQL and MS SQL databases.
• Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred but not required
• Experience on development of transactional B2C websites.
• Basic knowledge of XHTML, JavaScript, Ajax, XML and CSS.
• Experience working with remote teams.
• Technical Competence: uses technical skills and experience to meet job requirements
