The Java/J2EE Development Lead will drive a team of developers. He/she will possess distinctive leadership skills. Will have solid programming knowledge and experience in developing commercial software. He/she will analyze the requirements, create the design, implement and deliver top quality products based solutions that meet the defined requirements on time and in the budget.
Will implement the requirements according to the design and ensure the deliverables meet the required quality levels. Will provide accurate task estimations and will offer support for creating project plan and controlling the development activity. Will assist the more junior team members and will create or participate in the review of specifications and design. Will work together with the development manager on developing and implementing the development best practices. Will interact with other groups and QA in order to improve the overall product quality.

Good project management skills
Solid industry experience using Java/J2EE technologies including most of the following: Core Java (1.5 highly desirable), JSP/Servlets/JSF/Struts/HTML/JavaScript/Ajax, EJB 3.0, JMS, SOA and Web Services, Oracle ADF, Hibernate or Oracle TopLink, Spring Framework Good knowledge of version control, build & issue tracking processes & tools.
Good working knowledge of one or more J2EE Application Servers: Oracle 10g AS, JBoss, WebLogic and/or WebSphere.
Strong DB design & development knowledge of relational databases: preferably Oracle 10g but SQLServer, PostgreSQL and/or MySQL also desirable
Very familiar with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit
Very familiar with the most popular development tools for efficient visual UI development, debugging and profiling. Oracle JDeveloper preferable but Eclipse or NetBeans also desirable
Good knowledge of XML processing and related technologies
Strong working knowledge of many Operating Systems highly desirable: Linux, Solaris & Windows
Proficient with object-oriented design principles and their application to Java & J2EE
Excellent communication skills
Excellent analysis and problem solving skills
Motivated and proactive attitude to take ownership and initiative in all work assignments
Strong hands on design & development skills
BS/MS degree in computer science or a related field
Experience in the following areas is prefered:
Telecom protocols & Network Management a distinctive advantage. In particular expertise with SNMP, IP networks, Quality of Service.
User interface design principles
Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Middleware and SOA Suite
