Context of the job:
Our client is the recognized world-wide specialist and leader in automation and logistic solutions for the Textile Rental Business.
Inside the team, you will extend an ERP system with new modules for a desktop, web and PDA client, web services and application server. You will work with clients from all over the world and you will be part of a friendly and well trained team.
Technical requirements:
Computer Science University (or related);
Minimum 5 years programming experience with Java technologies, RMI, Swing, JDBC
Experience with ORACLE, PL-SQL;
Experience with Tomcat, Glassfish and/or other Application Server;
Versioning Tools (SVN);
Ability to understand and interpret product specifications;
Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical teams;
Good command of the English language.
Experience with the following would be considered a plus:
Linux;
JSF, Ajax, XML, HTML, Web Services;
SNMP, SMTP, FTP, SFTP;
Jenkins/Hudson;
Android, Objective-C, HTML5, Titanium Appcelerator;
Visual C++, MFC, Visual Studio;
Junit, ANT, Maven.
