• Perform detail design of modules and subsystems.

• Advanced ability to code in required programming language and to fully document and explain code.
• Ability to design and implement unit test cases for developed code.
• Ability to understand and explain existing code developed by others.
• Ability to perform detailed design of interrelated modules and classes, ensuring efficiency, appropriate simplicity, robustness and reusability of code.
• Work with more senior staff during the design process to ensure that designs will integrate well and will not cause any problems in performance or scalability.
• Ability to problem-solve, troubleshoot and debug code own code or code written by others.
Our client in an international company which is one of the world’s largest mobile micro loans lenders.
Currently the company is expanding its application development team by recruiting a Java Architect and Java Developers, for its IT & Projects Department. The role is based in Romania and will report to Head of IT&Projects in Ferratum Slovakia.
Requirements:
4+ years of experience with development using JAVA and J2EE
• A solid knowledge of JPA 2.x / EclipseLink, JAX-RS / Jersey, JSR-303
• Experience with using JSF 2.x or Apache Wicket 6.x
• JSON, jQuery, responsive HTML and CSS.
• Work experience using Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban)
• Bachelor degree in Informatics, Information Technology/ Computer and Automation.
• Ability to understand business requirements and turn them into technical solutions;
• Ability to openly present her/his own ideas
• Independent and highly self-motivated with a strong customer focus
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Fluency in English
