Alcatel Romania organization is in search of a qualified candidate for the position of ITS System Engineer in Bucharest. This intermediate-level professional is a fully qualified individual producer who applies a broad knowledge of technical concepts, practices and procedures. Duties require a variety of computing, data communication and organizational skills, familiarity with Windows based operating environments, applications and equipment.
As part of ITS team, this person will be responsable for:
- performing a full range of system administrator activities on local servers in Bucharest:
- Active Directory and Windows 2003 server
- Backup solution
- Security correspondent for Bucharest site
- providing IT/IS user support on Bucharest site for Alcatel Romania (software installations, troubleshooting and correcting HW/SW problems
- offering support for the end users
This job is available in BUCHAREST.
- Technical University Degree - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of working experience on system administration & user support (Windows)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2000, 2003, XP, MS Office 2003, Red Hat Enterprise
- Familiarity with Helpdesk ticketing software, TCP/IP, security technologies
- Certification is a plus: MCP, MCSE, MCSA, CCNA
- Scripting skills (vbscript, perl)is a plus
