RESPONSABILITATI

The role: IT Application Support Analyst



Principal Accountabilities:

* To ensure technology delivers the operational requirements of the contract.
* To learn and develop support techniques to maintain IT solutions used for CMS service delivery
* To become expert in the administration of the assigned CMS technologies such as Aprimo, Oracle, XMPie, XiNet
* Undertake the Systems administration for IT systems in support of existing and new business
* Applies understanding and knowledge of information systems products and services to assist users
* Identifies, investigates and researches user questions and problems as well as isolating and resolving information systems problems
* Coordinates referrals to appropriate technical, professional, or service personnel
* Receives and prioritizes issues and forwards using appropriate escalation procedures
* All other duties as assigned

* Identify and initiate continuous improvement activities in support of ongoing IT Application Delivery
* Work with multiple support functions to Triage and resolve issues



In addition to the above duties, the higher levels within this job family may also perform the following:

* Briefs customers and/or management on the status of resolution efforts
* Serves as a technical advisor to users with complex systems issues by resolving or conferring with technical personnel

* Recommends system or process improvements, including procedures, training, and enhanced documentation

* ESSENTIAL

- Experience of working with IT systems, with a strong focus on Application Support and Administration

- Ability to learn and develop new skills

- Ability to assimilate information quickly within a fast paced environment



* DESIREABLE

- XMPie

- XiNet

- Oracle E-Business

- Aprimo

- PL/SQL, MYSQL

- Full working knowledge of MS applications

- Knowledge of Apache

- Knowledge of Java



Education /Qualifications: graduate or equivalent



Skills / Abilities:

* Self-starting and able to work without detailed supervision.

* Broad range of technical skills
