This role is a training ground for high performing associates to develop skills and competencies and a crucial link in inspecting overall internal control processes to determine accuracy of financial statement account balances and compliance with company policies and procedures, laws and regulations including Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404.
The Internal Audit Coordinator will be leading the internal audit team and will be responsible for reviewing complex processes, identifying business risks and controls, developing and executing audit procedures and control, and formulate value added recommendations to address control weaknesses and issues with operational effectiveness and efficiency at the Support Office and field locations.
Additional responsibilities may include reviews of quarterly financial releases, execution of complex ad hoc projects and will involve monitoring of Company compliance with corporate governance regulations.
University degree in Economics;
Experience with conducting audits and reviews of complex companies (minimum 2 years);
Ability to review financial statements, prepare internal audit reports and research accounting and audit issues;
Familiar with Sarbanes-Oxley Act;
Very service oriented in terms of working well with management team and department heads;
Strong communication skills, including writing their own concise reports and making effective presentations to senior management;
Must possess impeccable integrity and independence of mind;
Willingness to travel.
