• Human Resources ‘go to’ person for the Romania office
• Supports and assists the Corporate Human Resources Director in developing, implementing and administering HR programs, policies and processes
• Provides guidance and counsel on Romania labour legislation and advises the HR Director accordingly
• Provides input and guidance on the collective agreement
• Create and maintain employee personnel files including salary data
• Maintenance and validation of time sheets; provides approvals based on company policy
• Interface with corporate payroll and finance functions
• Interface to our Romania accounting and employment vendors
• Interface with recruitment team and ensure recruiting processes are followed
• Completes all on-boarding activities and delivers employee orientation training
• Completes all off-boarding activities and notification process
• Provides employment metrics to the HR Director including hiring, compensation, attrition data, etc.
• Minimum 5 years business experience, specifically in an HR role.
• Strong working knowledge of Romania employment legislation.
• Familiarity with collective agreements.
• Attention to detail.
• Romanian language at a native level.
• Fluency in English - verbal and written.
• Excellent time management and organizational capability.
• Ability to juggle many priorities.
• Must have diplomacy and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Self-motivated; must be able to deliver high quality output while working autonomously
