• Working for the development, implementation, and compliance/adherence to health, safety and policies and procedures for the business;
• Monitoring, analyzing and reporting on the effectiveness of health, safety policies, processes and procedures, providing recommendations for change/improvements as necessary and take a hands on lead approach where necessary;
• Working to ensure compliance with legal and corporate health, safety and environment standards;
• Maintaining all aspects of the controlling management system for health and safety;
• Providing support and expertise to the business in projects and/or activities that have an impact on employee health and safety;
• Maintaing all H&S records for the business;
• Developing and maintaing environmental risk assessments in the environmental management system;
• Reviewing risk assessments as and when required;
• Maintaining the H&S Data Base of accidents, incidents, near misses and hazardous conditions;
• Creating and submitting H&S Reports;
• Performing review of all risk assessment reviews annually.


• Bachelor's degree in engineering or agricultural sciences;
• Graduate courses in H&S;
• Minimum 3-4 years experience in H&S;
• Very good knowledge of health and safety legislation;
• Good level of English;
• Good verbal and written communication skills; good presentation skills;
• Highly effective in working with others, both inside and outside the organization.
