Head of Legal Department
Job description:
• Coordinates the legal department, organizes and prioritizes tasks for the team members; • Draws up opinions, contests and notes of clarification in accordance with OUG 34/2006 on public procurement; • Elaborates and revises legal analyses and makes recommendations to senior management on how to respond to legal issues or to proposed changes in laws and regulations; • Elaborates, revises and approves legal contracts, letters of agreement, and other documents related to a variety of trade, commercial, financial, and operational matters (for example purchase agreements, acquisitions) to protect the organization’s legal and business interests; • Represents the organization in front of public and private entities;
Requirements:
• Academic background – Faculty of Law; • Very good knowledge of the OUG 34/2006 regarding public procurement; • At least 3 years experience in a management position in a legal department; • 5 years experience in legal area; • A very good knowledge and experience in applying the commercial law and financial legislation; • Able to draw-up, structure and formulate elaborated documents (good capacity in phrasing legal documents, correspondence and opinions); • Very good communication and leadership skills; • Strong personality; • Able to motivate others to obtain peak performance; • Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines; • Hard working, detail oriented, organized; • Very good command of English (oral, written); • Very good computer skills: Word, Excel and Power Point.
