The graphic designer in our company is responsible for creating design solutions that have a high visual impact. The role involves listening to the company's requests and understanding its needs before making design decisions.
The graphic designer works to a brief proposed by the project manager and/or other managing parties. He develops creative ideas and concepts, choosing the appropriate media and style of the company.
The job demands creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software and professional approach to time, costs and deadlines.
Activities:
• interpreting the company's needs and developing a concept to suit its purpose;
• estimating the time required to complete the work;
• developing design brief by gathering information and data through research;
• thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts;
• proofreading to create accurate and high-quality work;
• sketching ideas for presentations;
• working on layouts and artworking pages ready-for-print
• understanding how printers and plotters work and what color profiles are best suited for different media;
• understanding how graphics work on different media and designing accordingly .
• 3 – 5 years experience in similar duties
• Adobe Photoshop – advanced;
• Adobe Illustrator – advanced (expert would be better);
• Adobe InDesign – basic;
• 3ds Max – basic (it's a plus);
• HTML & CSS - basic (it's a plus);
• Fluent in English would be an additional asset
• Communication skills
