RESPONSABILITATI

Legislative Compliance
•Manage a centralised Transportations System (TS) Compliance Tracking system (synchronised with Corporate requirements and processes) to identify legislative trends and communicate changes.
•Work with TS SBU leaders and ASMs to ensure all TS sites have proactive and effective processes in place to identify and comply with all relevant local and national HSE Legislation. Ensure this process is formally reviewed annually.
•Ensure that a Register of Permits is maintained at site level with a summary at TS level.
•Prepare an annual TS Compliance report at the time of the Assurance Letter / SAT review for senior leadership.

Management Systems
•Manage the TS / Aerospace HSE Management Systems (HSEMS) to ensure alignment with Corporate Level 1 Standards with effective implementation at site level.
•Manage the TS SBG level HSEMS to include biannual leadership reviews and preparation for Corporate HSEMS audits.
•Ensure standardisation of HSEMS across TS
•Ensure the provision of training material to support the deployment of all TS HSEMS
•Conduct on-site reviews and audits as necessary to ensure the effectiveness of HSEMS.
•Ensure that customer required ISO standards (14001 /18001) are maintained for TS.

Honeywell Operating System (HOS)
•Work closely with the TS HOS Steering team and site HSE leaders to ensure that Corporate HSE HOS requirements are integrated into the TS model and deployed as a part of the roll out of HOS.
•Represent HSE on the TS HOS Committee.
•Ensure that HSE requirements are standardized and integrated into the Standard Work Sheets and that HSE training packages are available to support the deployment of HOS.

Audit
•Manage the TS Audit function to ensure accurately assess the effectiveness of TS HSE performance
•Ensure that SAT program aligns effectively with CAP audit process
•Conduct internal auditing as directed
•Conduct specific audits on direction of the TS HSE director (e.g. LOTO effectiveness or serious accident investigation) to include remedial action and training as necessary.

Honeywell Level 2 Standards
•Coordinate TS level customised level 2 standards and ensure that they are maintained in a secure site with all necessary controls and reviews in place to ensure accuracy.
•Ensure that Corporate level 2 standards are adopted by sites where required and are customised to reflect requirements.
•Coordinate review of Corporate level 2 standards with TS review teams and provide feedback to Corporate committee sponsors.

Corrective Action Closure.
•Champion corrective action closure program for TS
•Track corrective action closure metrics and ensure that sites are closing metrics on time
•Implement programs to bring sites closure rates to standard where required

Special Emphasis Site Coordinator
•Review all TS sites for SES program.
•Track TS sites in SES program for progress.
•Coordinate internal audit program for SES sites

Assurance letter
•Prepare annual TS Legal and Compliance review and report out to HSE and ISC leadership.
•Coordinate Safety to life declarations (LOTO and other Safety to Life issues) for the Assurance letter

Due Diligence.
•Perform Due Diligence activities including acquisition and disposition to support the business as required.

People Development, Training and Education.
•Ensure that HSE leaders and Plant Managers are able to identify compliance requirements effectively.
•Advise the Leadership team on HSE issues and identify current and future legislative requirements.

Position Scope
•Member of the TS HSE Leadership Team reporting the TS WW Director HSE&R.
•Lead project teams on specific assignments as required.

Experience/Education

•Degree in HSE or other relevant discipline required. Advanced degree preferred.
•7+ Years experience preferred in a Health & Safety role within a US manufacturing environment with demonstrated experience in managing compliance programs.
•Strong communication skills, people management, and HS&E management expertise
• Fluent in written and spoken English
