The role will require leading and supervising the GL & reporting team to ensure accounting services are seamlessly provided to Temenos group. It will require close monitoring of the operations, provide technical guidance and support to the team, interacting with the stakeholders on a day to day basis.
Ensure all GL & reporting activities within SSC scope are performed accurate, efficient and according with Temenos timetable;
Identify recurrent problems/issues in the processes and provide efficient solutions;
Identify and implement best practices and process improvements;
Responsible for updating and maintenance of operating procedures;
Implement and sustain a Business Process Management System framework;
Propose and implement KPIs on the processes, ensuring the required levels are achieved;
Ensure effective implementations of controls as per Internal Control Systems requirements ;
Internal customers management : provide efficient resolution for issues & escalations;
Implementation of an efficient governance model;
Team management;
Coaching and supporting team members, developing internal talent;
Perform such other tasks related with SSC deliverables as may be required from time to time;
ACCA certification - should be an advantage.
Bachelor degree in Economics, preferably Accounting;
Proven Experience in Finance and Accounting (more than 7 years);
Fluency in English; French or German is nice to have;
Team-player with high ethical standards;
People management skills - prior experience of leading a mid-size team;
Prior experience in a complex multi-national and multi-cultural environment;
Experience working with Microsoft Office;
Good communication, presentation and influencing skills;
Analytic skills.
