-Updates maps, databases and relevant GIS applications;
- Develops new applications using GIS software packages (ArcInfo, ArcView, MapInfo, MapObjects etc.);
- Maintains the databases of planning tools and confirms the interoperability of the systems;
- Performs data conversion-related duties as required.
-University Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications or a specialty in GIS systems;
- At least 1-2 years of experience in similar position;
- Strong GIS knowledge with one or more GIS packages (ArcGIS 9.x, MapInfo 7.x);
- Strong computer literacy;
- A basic understanding of the concepts behind data management in a relational database;
- Analytical thinking, detail orientation;
- Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written).
