Specific activities . . .
. . . Collect and document customer requirements – both functional and non-functional requirements
. . . Propose and document high level solution design
. . . Perform dimensioning analysis based on customer requirements
. . . Lead the development team to deliver solution according to design
. . . Participate in meetings with customers/project team on solution issues
. . . Fully comply with 1&1 development standards and processes.
. . . Lead the development team to deliver solution according to design
. . . Analyze & document the customer's business processes and requirements
. . . Provide effort estimates to the project manager / SCRUM Master
. . . Collect and document customer requirements, including functional and non-functional requirements
. . . If needed, evaluate 3rd party providers to be used in the solution

. . . Secure the functionality and technical quality of deliveries in customer projects
. . . Handle change requests and the consequences of such requests for delivered offers and/or ordered deliveries from a solutions point of view
. . . Follow configuration and release management processes.
. . . 3+ years of experience architecting web front-end solutions
. . . Excellent knowledge of JavaScript including state of the art implementation paradigms (Progressive Enhancement, Unobtrusive JavaScript, Graceful Degradation)
. . . Excellent knowledge of JavaScript libraries like jQuery, Dojo, ExtJS and standards like commonJS, nodeJS
. . . Very good knowledge of Internet technologies, browser runtime environments& modern web application development
. . . Experience with web technologies like CSS, HTML5, XHTML, XML
. . . Solid experience with multilevel SW-Architecture
. . . A good knowledge of the DOM and know how to handle it
. . . Web Development: JSP, Servlets, Spring, Seams, Struts 2, Rich Faces / JSF
. . . Communication Frameworks/Technologies: XML-RPC, SOAP, JSON, REST, XHR
. . . Hands on experience in Source Control and related tools: SVN, git
. . . Experience with automated build and deploy: Maven, ANT
. . . SOA & Middleware Technologies
. . . Performance Tuning & Optimization
. . . JBoss, Tomcat
. . . MySQL, Oracle, Hibernate / JPA
. . . Very Good English speaking and writing skills
. . . Effective presentation skills, strong problem solving skills and analytical ability, proactive
